Who actually does the work?
All services are performed by licensed and insured independent contractors from our vetted network. Every professional is carefully selected to meet our standards for quality, reliability, and experience.
Do two-story homes cost more?
Yes. Two-story homes require additional time and access, so they add $25/month to the base plan price.
What if my home is over 4,000 sq ft?
Homes over 4,000 sq ft may require a custom review before approval. We'll confirm pricing based on the size, access, and service needs of the home.
How long is the membership?
Upkeepers memberships are 12-month agreements billed monthly. Your plan includes scheduled maintenance visits throughout the year based on the membership level you select.
What if I need a real repair?
Upkeepers also offers individual Home Services for repairs, replacements and home-improvement projects. You do not need to be a member to request service. Submit your request, and a local licensed and insured contractor will review the work, contact you and confirm the scope, price and appointment time.
Do I have to be home?
For your first visit, yes — we'll walk you through your home and systems. After that, it's up to you. Many homeowners provide access via a garage code or lockbox so we can complete maintenance while they're away.
What's the difference between the plans?
Each plan is based on how often your home is maintained over a 12-month membership. Essential covers the basics on a less frequent schedule, Preferred includes more regular visits and deeper system checks, and Premier Care offers the most frequent service along with added perks like priority scheduling and additional care.
